SANDESTIN TRAVEL GUIDE

Airelle Snyder Blog

Hey guys!! If you follow me on social media you saw my beach trip last week!! We had such an amazing time and I wanted to share with you my favorite place to stay and what I wore during our vacation!!

I have been going to Florida for my family vacations for years. The beaches are always clean and nice and we love the family atmosphere. Sandestin is by far my favorite place to go and stay!!

We were only going to stay two days but when we were leaving we just couldn’t do it!! So I called the hotel and booked two more nights! We got in on Wednesday night and stayed until Tuesday. The first three nights we stayed at the Sandestin Resort on the Beachside (Beachside II) and then the next few nights we stayed on the Bayside at the Pilot House. Both of these locations are great but for different reasons.

The Beachside II is great if you are wanting to be only a few steps from the beach and the Pilot House is great if you are wanting more of a walking distance to shops and food in the middle of Baytowne Wharf. Baytowne is the little shopping and food area location within the Sandestin Resort.

Our favorite restaurant there is Another Broken Egg Cafe!! I got biscuits and gravy with potatoes and sausage every morning. It is so good!! Their peach Bellini is absolutely delicious and Jeff got the eggs and bacon breakfast which also looked so good!! The waitstaff is so friendly and we didnt have to wait because we sat at the bar every time. I highly recommend this place if you are staying at Sandestin!!

We also ate at a few other places including the pizza place next to Ben and Jerrys which was just okay. The pizza was a little burnt and it was pricey for what we got but still a great date night place because of the lights and atmosphere of the area.

Another night we went to Cantina Laredo and ate Mexican and it was also really good. We used to have Cantina here in Nashville but they recently closed. Their queso is so good!! This is a little ways down from the hotel so you will have to drive but the shops are amazing and theres a Publix where we got our groceries.

There are so many fun places to go and walk and eat. This area is very family friendly but also great for couples too!!

Checking in at the Sandestin Resort

The weather was a perfect 82-85 and sunny with a few storms at night.

My first beach day outfit // Coverup, Sandals, Tory Burch Bag, Sunglasses

I wore this coverup almost everyday even though I brought three or four. Its easy to throw on and is not frumpy if you want to go have lunch. I also use this Tory Burch bag every time I travel. It is expandable and easy to wipe off. Its the perfect beach bag for me because it easily fits towels and snacks and all of my sunscreen and products.

We stopped on the way out of Alabama to eat and found an interesting menu item!!

SANDESTIN TRAVEL GUIDE

Not long after we left Alabama I realized I “lost” my phone. After driving back ten minutes to where we were when I thought I lost it I realized I could turn on find my iPhone on his phone. When I did I it showed it was still in the truck. We pulled over and after getting out of the truck we both stepped in a mound of fire ants and had bites all over our feet and legs and then found my phone on the head rest. Needless to say this was our faces after the fact.

I hope you all enjoyed this post!! Let me know your favorite vacation spot in the comments!! xoxo -A
